1981 Hunter 27 forstay wire size

I am working on a 1981 Hunter 27 for the Boy Scouts. Anyone know the size wire for the forestay?

The reason is I am donating a furling system and need to know that measurment. I am unable to get that info even from the mfg who was Seco South.

My educated guess is it is 3/16", but I don't have one here to measure.

All the standing rigging on the 75-84 h27 is 3/16ths.
