That's not cheap. If they gave you the boat and $10,000, it wouldn't be cheap. If you are tempted, try to find a 12 step program of some sort.

From the pics looks like she had some standing water on the inside for awhile.
Breaks my heart to see this....i'm almost tempted....almost.
that boat is in very bad shape....if you have about six years and a good cash flow along with unlimited determination it could be brought back but from my experience its a long way to travel

Not for $2500, but I'm tempted to strip some fittings and send the hull to the crusher. Looks like the primary winches are non-self tailing, though. What does it cost to send a hull to be crushed? Anyone know? And has anyone ever tried to salvage the 4000 lbs of lead in the keel? (I think that is going for $0.50 / lb scrap). It's a shame that the boat has lived its life, but I can give a new lease on life to some of it on our 1987 S9.2c!!

For me, a project boat is a 12 step program;) Some see a problem, others see an opportunity.
Not saying this particular one is....just sayin.

I never really took a good look at these S2 9.2C's before. They are very interestingly configured boats. Really like the CC, Fore and aft births and that shower/bath stall. Very cool! I see ones in decent shape going for 16k - 18k. Thats a little less than i would expect.
