Hunter 37.5 Cherubini Bayfield, WI
Just took ownership yesterday in Bayfield, WI. 3rd owner, boat had excellent care. Have a month or so of sailing season left, plan to use it.
It's a beautiful, solid boat. Couple issues:

Has non functioning Kenyon stove w/oven. I can get a like new, used replacement, or should I switch to propane? 1st mate wants both stove/oven.

Any particular weaknesses I should be aware of re: this model boat?

JHoward:

You have a CHERUBINI Hunter. Various models were manufactured from 1974 to about 1982. Sizes 25ft, 27, 30, 33, 36, 37, and 54.

SailboatOwners.com has a dedicated sub-forum for the Cherubinini Hunters which is frequented by enthusiastic and knowledgeable Cherubinin 37c owners. Introduce yourself and ask questions there:

Do a search the SBO forum archives. Your question about strengths (many) and weaknesses with your model has been addressed numerous times over the years. In general though -- owners are very pleased with their Cherubini Hunters. Good choice you made!
