1979 vintage yanmar one cylinder

I want to install an alarm for my water temp and oil pressure on my single cylinder yanmar. Does anyone know where I can get info on my Yanmar...previous owner did not keep engine info. Also, can anyone recommend a website for appropriate temp sensors and pressure sensors for my project. "far and away"

Aren't they built into the engine control panel?

Most of these engines have a loud screeching sound when you turn on the key. I thought that this is like a test for the engine control. If you over heat or drop your oil pressure it will also sound off while running.
