The plastic catches on my windows in my 1979 H33 are starting to break of like crazy, when I lock down the wingnuts. Not only them, but the windows have broken also cracked near the top where the springs attach. I'm sure these are the original windows, and I'd like to know where I can get replacements for them. I don't need the full insert, or screen, but just the windows themselves. Thanks a million! Arthur

plenty info on this site

Hey Arthur. When I bought my 33 I asked the same question. Everyone on here was nice enough to direct me to the forum archives. Just try a search for "portlights" or "windows"...you know, something along those lines and you'll come up with all kind of good information. If my memory serves I think it was Gray Enterprises where I found mine. I think they were originally Bomar (maybe the other way around?)...anyways, for me it was just a matter of a quick search, found a phone number, gave some sizes, and they were in the mail. Not as expensive as I thought they'd be either! Best of luck. Aubrey, GusBus II

Pompanette.

See Related Link for Pompanette. As Aubrey mentioned these are Gray portlights and still available. You have your choice of parts or complete replacement. If you replace you should probably go with a newer "rain drain" model. But only if you can get the exact sizes. Replacement is not too difficult if the sizes match.
