I hear there have been issues with the bowsprit on some older irwins. I have noticed a small crack in the underside of the joint where the bowsprit and hull meet. I'm wondering what the construction is made of and if others have had issues. Ive got a 1976 37 irwin ketch with centerboard. Any info would be greatly appreciated! -Rhett of s/v Emilie Winn
