1976 H 25 toe rail attachment

I am not sure what would be the best sealant but did not suggest the Satan's glue for this or 5200. What is the best sealant. Sorry to show my ignorance but please advise on this.

On my H30 it is attached with nuts and bolts every 6 inches and sealed with buytl tape. I know this for a fact since it oozes out when it gets hot.
