We have had a number of recent and detailed discussions on just this topic. Look at the h25 and it's slightly larger sister, the h27, as they share much in the way of design and construction. Also, check the owners reviews in the Hunter 25 section. $1,000 is a real deal. So there is probably an issue somewhere. I'd have it surveyed to have the best chance of defining the maintenance issues, even if the survey was not part of the purchase contract. David Lady Lillie
