Hey i just purchaced a 1970 Catalina 22 Hull Number 174 with 5 sails,(3 jibs, 2 mains one brand new main never sailed) the origional 1970 8HP Evinrude. The boat can be sailed in as is condition. It needs minor repair ie. Teak refinishing, swing keel maintaince, no trailer. The motor runs strong. It needs minor cosmetics, hull paint (yes i said paint!! blue) safety lines, winch for the swing keel, nut no holes or blistering in the hull. How do you guys think i did on this deal? I gave up a 1960's wooden 15' Lark for it so i hope i will be happy with a fiberglass boat. I plan on starting a web site on it at some point. If your curiouse about anything on it leave a message. I am curiouse how good i did cause most of the boats sell for alot more. Thank you Scott.

I paid $2800 for my 1977 C-22, in 1997. I've put about $2000 more into it, just upgrades. Mine is painted too: good paint, sloppy job. It is in otherwise really good condition. If yours is in as good shape as mine, you got a great deal!

Minor cosmetics and hull paint and refinishing the keel and she is the envy of hunter onwners in our part of the world. Yeah, you got a good deal. You know it now so does the rest of the world. Just get out and start enjoying it!
