I’m thinking of buying a 1967 Schock Endeavor and, apart from the Saildata site, find very little info about them. The current owner set up a trolling motor to use instead of a gas-powered outboard because, as the design requires, you mount the OB throuhh a well just aft of the cockpit, when needed, then take it out when not needed and set it…where? If you leave it mounted, not only do you pay the drag penalty, the cockpit floods. Maybe that’s why they only built 56 of these things. Anyway, I’m eager to hear from anyone who has this boat and developed a solution for an outboard.
