Does anyone know how the chain plates are connected to the boat. Only the aft ones comes through the deck and attaches to a bulkhead. The other 4 do not appear inside at all. I ordered the plans for the boat and they don't touch on this. The cabin roof appears to be very thick in this area and I believe there is some kind of reinforcing because there isn't a compression post for the mast either. thanks
