192 Trailer help

Hi everyone-I just got my Shoreland'r trailer for my 192 stolen yesterday (Sunday), while I was out on the boat. Terrible end to a great October sail.Anyway, can some of the other 192 owners let me know what kind of trailers they use? Some measurements would be helpful, too.Thanks a lot.Kevin

That sucks!

What a cold shot! Being set up for a shoal keel sailboat, it's not like it's going to fit your typical powerboat either. Maybe someone just wanted the axle or tires off of it and the rest will show up abandoned somewhere nearby. The trailer for my 192 is a Zieman. It is a well made custom trailer, everything is welded rather than bolted. I just wish it was galvanized instead of painted. Single drop axle, 13" wheels, 5' extending tongue.

Trailer Measurements

Thanks a lot. I got an aft-view sketch from someone else on the odayowners yahoo forum (see link if you want), but I'd like some fore/aft measurements, like:overall length of trailerdistance from hitch to axledistance from bow or stern to axleI figure I'm going to have to "customize" whatever trailer I find, and these measurements will help me get it balanced enough so I can pull the boat out of the water, and then fine tune on land.Thanks again!
