So, the original sail plan for a 192 was a 110% jib with fixed fairleads on the cabin top. That's how mine was set up, with the abominable wire luff furling. I'm now using a newer, crisper, hank on 110%...
But what about a genoa? Perhaps a 135%?
Have you done this to your boat? How does she sail? I'm sure better in light winds, but does she point worse? And more to the point, where did you put your jib tracks, on the side decks? Are you now sheeting outside the shrouds?
To be fair, I'm happy with her performance as mostly stock. But it's nice to have an idea in the back of my head to plan towards... Actually, I'm more likely to put short tracks on the cabin top to get better trim on my 110%, at least in the near future.
