I think I've done a bad thing.

I ordered a Magna grill railing clamp without measuring the diameter of the aft "railings" on my 192. I figured "Oh, the 7/8" to 1" clamp has got to be right." And, of course, when the $47.00 clamp arrived, I took it out of its packaging so I could bolt it onto the grill, you know, play with it a bit. But now I've got the fear that those railings are a bigger diameter than 1". And, of course, the boat is tarped up 9 ways to Sunday an hour's drive away...

Can anyone get me a quick diameter measurement? (Anyone other than Trinkka Joe - he's got a non-standard stern pulpit...)

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks a bunch, Joe. In my mind's eye, that hand railing just kept getting bigger and bigger.

Magma makes 2 mount sizes: one for 1" or 7/8" with a provided shim, and one for 1 1/8" or 1 1/4". Hmm, there's even 1 1/2" size.

I was sure I guessed wrong.

Is it Spring yet? I'm dying for my first shrimp kebab on the grill!

I know for sure that it's not 1 1/8". I used a piece of 1 1/8"X6" for a welded collar to join my Gin Pole together. That stuff is big.
I'm sick of wnter. I hate it. Spring can't get here fast enough to suit me.

You're in the ball park. That Magma is going to fit.
