What snake oil treatment do you recommend to bring new life to my gel coat in the non-skid areas?

New Glass

Try New Glass II made by K.A.S. Marine. Web site of www.newglass.com. I have used this stuff on my entire boat (a h376) and it works well. Can use it on the awlgrip as well. I put on 5 -6 coats in about a day and it cures within 24 hours. Nex season, it looked as good as the year before. Must clean boat thoroughly before using it. Lustre all year with no brown marks on the bow where the water laps up.

New Glass

Used New Glass on our '85 H34. Very good results and it lasts. Be sure you do two things. 1. Clean thoroughly before applying, as anything that's on the glass will be there permanently after application. 2. Apply at least 4 very, very thin coats. I used car wax applicator pads. We did our H34 in Freeport, Texas and again 4 years later here in St. Pete.

Kurt Schenholm has been spamvertising boating bulletin boards. He recently scavenged email addresses of posters off the CWBB and sent them email spam. I suggest boycotting this product, until there is some evidence that he understands acceptable business practice on the Web. Try one of the competing products.
