I am planning to install a 120VAC fused GFI strip in my lazzarette to plug my searchlight and spare battery charger source in to. I will secure the strip in the lazzarette, but I wonder how much of the boat do I need to take apart to get to this 120VAC receptacle. (I plan to run it through the bulkhead whare the A/C duct comes out. Any advice on this plug or have any of you removed the microwave on the 331? *o Thanks in advance for your advice,

Look behind the box

Have you looked behind the box the microwave is mounted in? If you can't see it from the locker pull the microwave out to see which corner they placed it in. Chase it back from there. ON our 361, which is very similiar to the 331 it's in the lower right corenr as you face the microwave. Just watch how much you put on that line or you'll be tripping the breaker on a regular basis. Good luck.

Question...

Weasel, if it's fused and you're going to install it in a cockpit locker what would be wrong with picking up your connections at the back of the shore power feed or did I miss something?

microwave

the microwarve is almost impossible to remove. just open the vent from the back and there is a double outlet that the microwave plugs into you will reach in to unplug the microwave but it will not come out. mine shorted out and i hade to pry it out with brute force.

Feet screwed to the box.

The microwave is held in by its feet. Remove the four screws from the feet and the unit will slide out. They are in the lazarette under the box. Jim
