12 Volt TV/DVD

Does anyone have recommendations into a 12 volt, LCD TV? I’ve been searching the web, and there are many out there, wanted to see if anyone else has found one that they are really impressed with. I’m up for either of these 2 options:1. A separate LCD TV, and then a separate in dash mounted DVD player.2. A combo LCD TV/DVD player.Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.TIA,Jason

TV and DVD

We have a Samsung 150MP which is a TV and computer monitor all in one. The flat screen can be hung on a bulkhead or set on a shelf. Look on E-Bay for less than $350.DVD player from Farm & Fleet or whatever for $60 new. Small and works good.We wire both into the 12 v. TV switch so all come on at once. Had for two years and love the setup.In the picture the DVD is the little silver colored thing to the right of the white plastic light. Put it anywhere.

Planar 15in

I have a Planar 15" that doubles as both a TV and computer monitor. Can even do picture in picture (watch TV and work on computer at same time). We use the laptop which has a DVD player built in and has a DC adaptor. The best thing about the planar was a 3 yr no fuss warrenty.

Toshiba

We've got the Toshiba TV/DVD combo. While no where near as sexy or thin as the flat screen, it's also only about $170. That includes DVD, TV, AC and 12 volt operation.

RCA

RCA makes an 11" LCD TV that is powered by either AC or DC and includes a built-in DVD player. It is pricey and lists for around $700. You can also find it on e-bay or from various internet retailers for around $500. I have not seen this set so I can't say how good it is.
