25' 1978 model: does it have an outlet? I have an inverter but am not sure where it goes...can't find plug.

DANGER - Get help
Lori, Inverters put out 110 Volt electricity the same as at home, mixed with water, this can be DEADLY. Please get professional help. Have it checked out before doing anything on a boat this old. The Hunter 25 is an excellent boat, and if sailed right is very easy. Please get hands on help before you have a disaster. Sailors would rather teach you how to sail than be part of a search crew looking for you, or your body.

Steve is correct. get help. Attached is a jpg of the DC wiring diagram from owners manual. You will need to wire your own AC as the boat did not come with AC. a lot to be considered about crimping vice wire nuts, wire type in the corrosive marine environment.... and safety. You may need a biger altenator and additional 'house' batteries with an inverter.
