I wanted the max possible tankage as we cruise the puget sound area,San Juan Islands, Gulf Islands, and BC coast, I found mention here of Tempo's 9 gallon tank, I found a slightly taller 12 gallon Tempo tank at West Marine,It fits like the 9 gallon except the gascaps vent props the fuel compartment door up 1/2". I pulled the vent screw out, and belt sanded the cap flat, now there is a tiny vent hole (with foam) that will always be open, and the door closes flush..no fuel escapes on a deep heel, I like it
