021 Ignition

I am hoping to replace my existing points ignition with a Pertronix Ignitor or similar device. Has anyone any experience with this? I don't have access to my motor to find out what model Bosch distributor was used. Any help here? Thank you.

My experience with 021 electrical was to go to a parts centre (Lordco or similar) and ask for VW ignition parts circa 1970 for points, condensor, distributor cap etc. Seemed to work ok when I had my Vega.
