On a return trip from an overnight anchor-picnic, I was motoring and heard a strong tuk under hull. Boat continues as if nothing was wrong.
Some days later drove under to clear hull and found one of my KiwiProp blade broke in half.
Replacing the blade was as easy in clear waters but still doable...
Has anyone tried cutting/trimming the blades of KiwiProp to shorten it? I've damaged all 3 ends of the 16" blades and thinking of cutting the damaged portion away. Also shorter blades means I've scope to adjust the pitch. As it is now mine is set to lowest angle (18deg).
So I suppose hack saw...
