kiwi grip

Hello, I'm interested in just covering my existing (well worn shallow) nonskid embossed non skid deck with kiwi grip. I was wondering if the reinstalled hardware over the kiwi grip would compromise a tight seal for the hardware being its such a rough texture. Has anyone ever installed hardware...
