catalina 310 st4000 auto helm

The auto helm engaged during a storm and I had to steer through it. It disintegrated quite dramatically. See photo. So I need to replace the st4000 drive ring and since the belt broke and berrings rolled away I guess that I need a new drive. Should I do a direct replacement or is there a better...
