1984 30-2

Hi all! This is my first post as I just bought a 1984 Yamaha 30-2 and this forum is full of helpful advice, so was wondering does anyone have experience with the drive shaft seal(stuffing box)? Ie, what size cord do I need, and does anyone have a copy of the manual for this model with the motor...
