Mounting Flat Screen TV

We have a 2001 Catalina 310. It was purchased without a TV. We now have a 17" TV with DVD (23lbs) that we want to mount. We are going to use a swivel arm mounting bracket.

We would like to put in on the forward bulkhead to be viewed from the salon only as we have fan in the cutout in the front bulkhead. Is the bulkhead strong enough for this and is it solid. We would prefer to mount it on the starboard side. Has anyone mounted a TV that they've purchased and do you have any suggestions?

Here is what I did ...

I have a small 15# Polaroid LCD TV that I mounted using a swivel mount in the V cabin. I hate to drill holes so what I did was reused an extra piece of Oak stair tread with holes to match where my shrouds are bolted through the bulkhead. I replaced the original screws with longer ones with no problems. You should be able to do the same if you are going to mount in the salon side. You will probably also need to do a dado cut to fit over the strap if you are going to mount over that.
