Need clarification.
damaged hylard inmast
Are we talking about damage that you can or cannot see?
What have you attempted?
Halyards that rundown in side of your mast can be exchanged for a new halyard by attaching the new halyard to the end of the old one, then pulling the old one out. There are a couple of things that can trip this up. A fouled sheave at the top of the mast, a broken halyard, or a chafed halyard that will not go through the sheave. These are some of the issues. Please describe more of what you are seeing, and perhaps we can give you an idea of how to resolve it.

Yes I can run replace the hylard no trouble but the problem is removing the Clevis pin holding the eye of the hylard and not easy and no room to get the pin out and mast frame where the back of pin is and worry about falling down the mast

When you say "inmast" are we talking about a mainsail that is inmast furling?

Does the pin on the halyard shackle have a hole in the end? Is the shackel designed with a locking pin so it does not fall out when released?

This link may help.
