Hi - getting alittle buzz, and I am sure speaker quality has improved since 2004 so looking to replace or upgrade. Already replaced the receiver on the companionway hatch. Any suggestions ?

I replaced mine with JBL infinity waterproof versions. They are still working great 10 years later. My first replacement at 5 years was the same stock sony stuff. The sony stuff is only good for about 5 years and then the cones rot out.
Spadaforaj - I have a 2005 hunter 36 with cockpit arch mounted speakers. I replaced mine with Pioneer TS-ME650FC. They are ok. I would not use them again. By the way, I purchased them from Crutchfield and I highly recommend them as a retailer.
