Hoping to find out what the ballast material in the keel is. 1969 Paceship

Hi Paul.
I found a Cruiser/Forum reference to a 1974 Paceship Acadian Yawl 30 For Sale: 1974 Paceship 30' Acadian Yawl - Cruisers & Sailing Forums
It identifies 3400lbs of lead encapsulated in the keel. Lead or Iron were the materials of that era.
