Das sind Teakleisten, die aufgeklebt, dann mit Schwarzer Masse ausgegossen und geschliffen wurden. Sieht immer noch aus wie neu.....

Windsong after 4 years of restoring She is a homemade 1969 Sam Rable design. Picaroon class, 19' sloop. Newly glassed cabin, with full 1" lexan window and teak frame, new lexan cabin windows, starboard seating in the cockpit, transom rebuilt along with daughtering some frame, hull patched, faired, and painted. Keel rebuilt with new keel bolts. New Lewmar hatch, anti-skid decking paint, reset all hardware, and new period main sheet hardware. It's a good thing man hours are free!

Windsong as I got her 4 years ago. The cabin front was rotted, the front hatch was powder, the cockpit seating, transom, and some frame members too! The keel glass was delaminated from the keel members. Electrical wiring was shot. All has been fixed and I have a small number of final things to do and she'll be sailing in spring 2009!
