Neat boat, this looks like one of the original Willard built Lancer 30s. You can tell from the swept back keel that is similar to the C&C Mk I...

Das sind Teakleisten, die aufgeklebt, dann mit Schwarzer Masse ausgegossen und geschliffen wurden. Sieht immer noch aus wie neu.....

Boat Pictures 034 - Kept the tiller but could steer from many positions including inside the cabin during bad weather where I enjoyed watching court TV while going down the river. Hard to beat the cheapest little Garmin Etrek GPS and small Hummingbird depth finder, each about $89.

Boat Pictures 030 - The used Mercury 10 was quiet and reliable and got 10 mpg. Kept the new Johnson 15 for for next boat. After adding a nice built in bow sprit and swim platform, the Aquarius 23 became an Aquarius 27. Large cabin for a small boat. Reminded me of a fat, happy pig.

Boat Pictures 025 - Bought trashed and spent 2 years and $17,000 repairing, converting and equiping. Nice boat but small inside with no comfortable place to sleep. Had no sails so I sold all the sailing items to other Aquarius owners. Had $1,000 solar array plus generator and shore power.

Boat Pictures 608 - Bought new in 1993 for $40,000 stripped so I could afford the payments. Spent $20,000 over 12 years giving it all the equipment needed for long range cruising. Carried 300 gallons of fuel and was 40' long upon completion. The single volvo outdrive made it a challenge to dock and lock through single handed.

Boat Pictures 606 - Bought trashed and towed 60 miles up the Arkansas River with my ski boat. Took 16 hours. Spent $20,000 to equip and upgrade over 12 years. It's a 24' Yukon Delta, a very homely but practical little boat that did not like rough weather.
