This is one of the great reasons to be on a sailboat!
Faulkners Island. An island a couple miles off our cove.
Anchored at Duck Island Roads during the passing of a squall line.
After the Squalls settled down, and we peaked out, what did our little eyes see but O 40 Kukulcan owned by Bill and Patty Coxe across the anchorage. We rafted up for the night and enjoyed food wine and stories, and this is a shot from the next morning.
This is one of the great reasons to be on a sailboat!
This is our home cove. Apple O'Day is the boat to the left. Long Island (Mattituck Hills) is 22 miles in the background.
