Great idea here. Having a pop top model and all the snaps around the outside of my companionway, I've been thinking along the same lines here but using the existing snaps to attach the screen.
I agree, that's a fantastic option you have so far as the snaps are concerned. The problem with the velcro is that I am trying to find a way to leave the companion way boards off and putting the screen up from the outside, I'm having a problem figuring out.
