Most of it just pops off
All the bottom mess pulled right off after grinding off the bolt heads they put through the PVC pipe.
This will not take much mor grinding.
Makes it easier than grinding it all off.

Even left all the growth and just applied tiger hair over it.
Wow no sanding under the tiger hair.
