finished the wet sanding and buffed it out with a super cut marine buffing compound for gel coats. then applied a coat of New Finish, Once a year car polish. It was an awesome result compared to what it looked like before.

Starting on the trailer. Hubs, bearings, springs, tires, rims.
Hull and bottom completed.

bottom and keel painted 3 coats.
I spent many days wet sanding the gel coat w/ 600 grit wet sand paper and a sanding block. a couple of drops of dish soap in a spray bottle of warm water works a lubricant to ease the process somewhat.
Cleaned the hull with soft scrub w/ bleach and a kitchen scrubby to remove all the oxidation. worked great !!
