DSCN8407 Winch cover. Notice fouled anchor embroidery. I picked up a bunch of this patterned Sunbrella at Old Time Pottery from which I've made the sail cover, winch covers, and mast covers (two piece upper and lower), and plan to make a "boom tent" next.

Boat cover 001 This is Cordura nylon. I purchased a 12x24 tarp and cut it to shape, and used over a kilometer of thread designed for Sunbrella sewn with a really cheap Brother sewing machine using #18 needles.
