The lexan companion way hatch cover and rails were completely removed. the hatch buffed out with finishing compound and polished and a new stainless handle installed. I had planned to have the hatch tinted but was told that tinting film will eventual fail on plexiglass or lexan and advised not to do it. the hatch itself was in surprisingley good condition with very little crazing or hazing. All the track screw holes were drilled out, filled with epoxy and pilot holed for the install.
The new and hopefully improved bulk head. I instaled 3x3 oak studs on either side of the doorway and directly under the header which supports the mast. I replaced the original 3/4" bulk head with 1/2 5 ply. The port side stud is spanned over the cabin sole which has a void beneath. Though the sole is solid, i still need to get under that stud and build some support up from the hull.
The forward birth has only been repainted. Still needs trim work and a recover for the forward anchor locker.
You can see where the original white stripe decals used to be. I plan to paint those back on with the original "S2 26" logo to the rear of the stripes.

I found the original short settee to be somewhat useless so I built a little chart reading desk and settee that can also be used for counter space when cooking.
