Original 1979 plaid beige. Not the ugliest stuff in the world..just don't take a big whiff of fabric & foam due to diesel odor....the boat was hardly used by the PO and the odors are in all the cushions, mainly the interior cushions with the original fabric (still has Jensen Marine tag on) and who knows how old foam..
Maybe seeing metal, rather than the plastic through hulls is more comforting than plastic...although, I've seen some plastic through hulls at West Marine that I was told were Lloyd's of London approved.
GREAT SOLUTION!! Now,here is how you buy for LESS THAN WHOLESALE for your boat (or home fabric). Just visit this nice company and look for anything from thousands of bolts they have right on hand. First, go for a remnant (the smaller, left over rolls in stock), this is how I got a very high quality Sunbrella fabric for just $15/yd.! I'm doing my whole v berth and salon for $300 for the fabric (20 yds approx) plus, add about $800 for high density (a MUST) foam and labor, and for about $1,100 total, Seasters will look, but more importantly SMELL a whole lot better! So, if your sanitation hoses are beginning to look or already look like these, it's time to replace them before they have a chance to go out at the most inopportune time!
holding tank bladder and old hoses...a catastrophe waiting to happen! The bag broke upon removal....:( It's easy to just turn a blind eye and not deal with an unpleasant task. But, I think you'll agree it's far worse to delay what should be done right away!
Possible original neoprene holding tank in bow under v berth.
