Boat Pictures 030 - The used Mercury 10 was quiet and reliable and got 10 mpg. Kept the new Johnson 15 for for next boat. After adding a nice built in bow sprit and swim platform, the Aquarius 23 became an Aquarius 27. Large cabin for a small boat. Reminded me of a fat, happy pig.
Boat Pictures 025 - Bought trashed and spent 2 years and $17,000 repairing, converting and equiping. Nice boat but small inside with no comfortable place to sleep. Had no sails so I sold all the sailing items to other Aquarius owners. Had $1,000 solar array plus generator and shore power.

Carried 300 gallons of fuel and was 40' long upon completion. The single volvo outdrive made it a challenge to dock and lock through single handed.
