Anybody that camps, has got to get one of these. After putting up the bug netting, I can play "zap the bugs". the batteries last a long time and it really works.
The bimini has sides that come about half way down. Really helps when the sun isn't straight up. The gas grill is positioned aft, over the motor so it's out of the way. It swings into the cockpit when you are ready for lunch.
50 watt solar panel. It's more than I need for now. I run the usual nav lights, cabin light, anchor light, stereo, gps, and vhf, and a fan. In the future I'm hoping to add a refrigerator so I wont have to carry ice chests. If I do I will add a second solar panel. I'm not sure if 100 watts will be enough, so crossing fingers!
Just like most 26 owners, I wanted more storage space and there is a lot of space under the v berth. I cut this piece out with a jigsaw and added a 2x4 frame underneath. It's now stronger than before I did the mod. I was able to put the cut piece back in and glued the old wooden hatch to it for an almost stock appearance! It holds a lot of stuff down there. Jim

Cheap plastic organizer. Hope to replace it with a nice pretty wooden one next year, but for now, It holds stuff that I don't want to dig for. Flash lights, tools, 1st aid.
The Lowrance HDS-5 stays here when it's not in use. The vhs underneath it was put there by the PO. Eventually I plan on upgrading. When I do, it'll probably go over the galley. The speakers, have extra wire, so I can mount them out on the deck. It really sounds good with them out there! The orange whistle is legal, I think, but is getting replaced soon too.
My steaming light and anchor light's hang in the aft berth. Someday, I'll get ones that mount on the top of the mast, but for now this works. The poles are about 5 ft. long, and plug in a socket on the starboard side near the stern.
