mainsail3; It seems to be getting lower each year. I may buy the Kelly-Hanson main recommended by Peptobismol just to keep the crew safe!

trailer2; I put a long 4x4 timber on the mast crutch. It is held off the cabin forward with a 2x4 at right angles and little 1x2 feet under that. I tack the 3/8 plywood (cut outs for winches and back stays) to the 4x4 every fall with roofing nails. Then cover with a small tarp.

trailer; I made the ramp with timbers bolted to rock with anchors. I have a small metal wheel near the trailer tongue that I can "steer" up a center ramp board. I use the trailer winch to haul out, and a small come-along to pull the boat onto the trailer.

keel1; VC Tar then VC17, needs new tar as rust is poking through. Rust was less with zincs installed.

zinc; they have been on for about 22 years, freshwater, 6 months/year. About half gone.

Some instruments. The sonar and compass flip up on the hinge and are held by the bungy in my hand. A little voltmeter is wired to one of the circuits for battery monitoring. The little black speaker is a radio shack cheapie jacked into the VHF radio (out of the picture to the right under the stove). It really helps hearing the radio. The traveler ropes can be seen just outside.

Looking up in quarter berth. The jib cam cleat backing washers and nuts are lower left, Genoa track across the top (backing plate on the last two bolts as my track goes past the winch, great for downwind). Winch backing plate in the center as I raised my winch up an inch or two.

Main sheet traveler pad eye backing washers, taken in quarter berth. I used regular and "fender" washers, then cut off excess bolt (3/16" SS) with a dremel tool.

Mainsheet traveler, the manual pin adjuster (not used now) is under the right hand block. The left block is called a "single block with becket and universal head", the right "fiddle block with adjustable cleat and universal head". These blocks supposedly take 5/16" rope, I found they worked better with 1/4". Works great!
