This was shot north West of Phoenix Arizona. The guy single handling this boat has the nick name of Action Jackson. He does not have the Jib deployed and is enjoying a gust that almost got the better of him - on Watson Lake . He has a Hobie mast float (Baby Bob part #30115), and says there is little modifying that needs to be done. Just making the holes fit over the pully shafts. I love the 3D look of the photo - the rocks really stand out to me. Not to mention that was my kind of sailing! Mentally, I'm already on that boat! I hope to provide more action shots of the C16.5 for the internet and those that might like to see what see is capable of. Of course, I need to learn what I'm still capable of...!
