Access cover removed. Notice the two athwart ship floor joists that have been added. These provide better support for cabin sole and the bilge access cover. (Also, notice the bottom of the forward joist has been cut away to allow better access to the bilge pump.)
Bilge pump w/ integral float switch fits easily into the sump in the bilge.
