Sailboat Owners Forums

These are the turning blocks at the base of the mast to serve the halyards.
This is on a lake in Kansas, before we moved to Florida. The boat is Soire'e, another 26D we had before we moved and bought the 26D we renamed Soire'e (it's a long story). We wanted to see what the Mac would take before it laid down, and it never did. This boat is a very forgiving and fun platform.
Racing the only other 'D' in our club. We have around 18 boats that race regularly, but only one other Mac like ours. We handicap all racers, so it's a fair fight no matter what the weather.
My wife (and best crew)and I on a recent race morning.
