Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke, no spark

Hi all,

I have a Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke with an electric start and a electric choke. The motor will turn over but I don't get any spark. I think it could be the coil. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd greatly appreciate them.

Kill Switch?

I agree, check the kill switch. Check the carb to make sure it is clean. I used my dremel to clean mine and it worked great. You can use a little fine grain sand paper on the spark plug to make sure it is clean. I can't think of anything else, good luck.

I disconnected the kill switch and cleaned the plugs but still no spark. I tested it with a volt meter and I'm thinking it's the coil pulsar.
