I have a C390. It will be pulled for the winter. What should be done to the rigging? Should the tension be released by loosening the turn buckles a few turns or leave it alone.

This same question comes up every year around this time. Steel (the rigging) has a smaller coefficient of expansion than aluminum (the mast) effectively loosening the rigging as it gets colder. The mast contracts more than the rigging. Any effort on your part to enhance that effect will result in excessive vibration or sway in the mast and put extra strain on the chainplates and hull.
