If anyone would know about wing keels it would be on a boat from Down Under.. Weren't the Aussie's the ones that introduced the wing keel to the Americas Cup.

I would bet you will find that it is a metal thing and a good metal worker will be able to reshape the keel.

What's the melting point of lead? I believe in order to apply enough heat to allow straightening will bring the surface to it's melting point. Cold bending would require an emmense amount of force between the keel and a fixed object heavy enough to offset the force required truly a conundrum.

Bending of lead keels is something left up. Lead if bent too far or in some cases under load will break off. Good luck on attaching that back. At my yard, one individual of a Hunter with a lead wing keel after I refused to bend it back in shape did just that exerting force and the wing broke off. New keel was ordered.
