Transmission Problems?

Has anyone ever had a velvetdrive transmission fail on them?
If so, was there any warning before it failed?
When it failed what happened? just stopped working? Grinding gears? or?

Hi Bob, yes I lost reverse in my Velvet drive last Oct. No warning at all, it backed out of the slip fine in the morning but when I tried to slow down while coming into a slip in San Francisco there was nothing. I just had mine rebuilt by a Velvet Drive dealer in Nov and now works great. Here is a picture of it after I got it installed.
