Across the NE end of Lake Ontario are three large (and a few smaller) islands, Stony Island, Galloo Island, and Main Duck Island. All the islands have interesting histories and none have year round inhabitants. The photo is sunset from Stony Island looking towards Galloo. Second Star is anchored in the distance. It was a relaxing and enjoyable weekend with a good group of friends. Just as I was about to take the photo, a friend walked out to the end of the pier. Her presence adds a lot to the composition.
