I have a 1983 Catalina 27 with a Universal 5411 diesel. Looking to replace this with a Beta 14. Replacing because at 35 years I think it's about time, plus have had nothing but problems and I don't want to keep paying to keep the Universal running (barely). I have quoted out the Beta 14 at a little over 8k after taxes and am wondering about how many man hours I should expect when calling around shops for service. I was thinking this would be about 60-80 hours but the first place I checked said it would be 100-120.
