Does anyone know where I can get the "o" ring gaskets for the fuel filler cap?
I would hate to change the whole assembly to get a new O ring. (I think Beneteau has changed the style.) My boat is a 2004.

Thanks

I buy o-rings at the local hardware store for fuel fills. Always carry a spare, apply silicone grease to them. I replace them every year for good insurance.

Take the old ones to any auto parts store and get a couple.

Likely metric. Fastenal can get them in a couple of days if they are not stock items.

I'm pretty sure you can find what you need from McMaster-Carr.
You can pretty much get ANYTHING that you would spend days looking for unsuccessfully through hardware stores - at McMaster-Carr. And they ship super fast.

Gunni's right, with the caveat that there are hardware stores and then there are HARDWARE stores.

All three of my local ACE stores have tremendous selections of fasteners, including stainless steel.

Other hardware stores have only lawn furniture.

You have to do some homework where you live.

I've never found an o-ring that I needed for the Bavaria at a "local" hardware store within 15 mi of the house. M-C, like the guys said. We're lucky to have an actual M-C store here less than 15 miles away, so I can go over there and "fit it." Replacing just about anything that breaks on a metric boat ends here as a scavenger hunt unless you wish to buy a whole new--whatever.

KG,

Might be that we're closer to Canada, they have SAE & metric! :)
